“Take me home, country roads”

My husband and I just spent three wonderful nights at The Silo at Gene Acres. From beginning to end, Stephanie and Gene were the best hosts. This accommodation, which you truly have to see to believe, is a labor of love. And it shows. The ambience is peace and serenity. The vibe is rest and relaxation. The experience is luxurious and one of a kind. Everything about the Silo is well thought out and the amenities are provided with the comfort of their guests in mind. We loved relaxing on the front porch, enjoying the fire and Adirondack chairs in the back, catching up on Netflix in the big screen TV, and cooking meals in the kitchen. The king bed and big leather couch are soooo comfortable. And who wouldn’t love the privacy and relaxation of your own hot tub? If you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city; if you are searching for a place to rejuvenate and restore your soul; if you are looking to reconnect with loved ones — then you must visit The Silo at Gene Acres. Thank you Gene and Stephanie for sharing your little piece of heaven! ♥️ Say hello to Breezy, Knight, Lola and Frankie for us! 😁

Couple Trip and Digital Disconnect

We stayed at the Silo for a much-needed couple’s retreat after a hectic summer, and it was the perfect escape. We loved unwinding on the front porch swing, watching the horses, and soaking in the incredible hot tub. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and have truly thought of every detail. The Silo itself is even more beautiful than the photos, and I left feeling inspired to redecorate my own home! Thank you for everything and we will be back!

Best honeymoon spot!!!!

We stayed here for the week for our honeymoon and it did not disappoint! The area offered so much adventure which we loved. We brought our motorcycle and the best time exploring! We had adventure packed days and spent the night at the silo relaxing by the fire pit. We highly recommend the private chef one night! We also visited Ruby Falls which was cool. Rock city was amazing!! Point park is neat if you love history. There’s ton of hiking to do and swimming holes to find too! We strongly recommend going to Scotties on the river for lunch in Chattanooga it was amazing!!! 1885 was really good for dinner too! We didn’t have a single bad meal while we were here. We also went white water rafting which was awesome! If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay while also offering lots of adventure this is the place!!!! The hosts are amazing and made us feel right at home. 10/10 recommend!!! We will be back!!!!

Sisters Trip

This was exactly what we needed. It was the perfect weekend getaway to just relax, unwind, and spend time together talking and telling stories. Everything about the Silo is so well thought out and perfect. We didn't need for anything. The Silo was very clean and cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and just being surrounded by nature's beauty. Thank you for sharing your beautiful creation with us. It made our Sisters Trip one we will never forget.

The Perfect Getaway

My husband and I first stayed at the Silo in June 2023 and literally booked our second visit when we returned home. Having just spent a gorgeous fall weekend there, we wanted to leave a 5-star review. The furnishings and detail are so thoughtful and beautiful. You can tell so much pride and care has gone into the Silo. If you think the outside is cool, just wait until you see everything in person. Stephanie is an amazing host, thinking of every last detail. She texted us the day of to let us know our passcode, general Silo info and has always been available if we had questions. We are new to Georgia, having moved here from New Jersey. Cape May was always our special place to go for creating memories and celebrating life’s accomplishments. The Silo has become our new Cape May.

Highlight of our t rip

Always wanted to fix up a Silo but just haven’t. So finding this location was just meant to be. We had friends join us and the four of us fit perfectly comfortable. We only got to stay one night but hope to return again . So peaceful and just our style. The BedS were AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE. We enjoyed touring the Battlefield which wasn’t but just around the corner basically. And town with good eats easy to get to. We would love to come back for more than one night and take advantage of all the amenities .

Such a sweet peaceful place

2 day stay! Every detail inside & out was just perfect. Clean. Well stocked. Front the driveway to the backyard it was perfection. If we are ever in the area we will stay again. We went to Pie Slingers & then over to the bar the first night! Great food!! Great drinks!! Excellent service!! Night two, we went to Stir. Fun, unique & worth the 30 min drive. If you are in the area don’t miss this unique & peaceful place!! You won’t be sorry!! To be honest, I think they could charge more a night! On a side note. I joke with everyone I would live there in a heartbeat!
